As a therapist, I aim first and foremost to create a safe and supportive environment where you'll feel free to explore what is troubling you and where you'll feel attentively heard and deeply understood. I create a safe, loving environment, with full respect for your wisdom and self-authority. Taking a collaborative approach, I work with individuals on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, stress, drug and alcohol addiction, relationship/ communication problems, feelings of powerlessness, low self-esteem, work-related difficulties, life transitions, and anything else that might be worrying you. I also enjoy working with teenagers and high school students in assisting them with coping skills and increased insight to reduce stress and anxiety notably on the rise for this population.
II enjoy using psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, which have been shown to be the most effective types of treatments for many psychological problems. I am an experienced therapist with qualifications that allow me to tailor my therapy approach to each individual person’s needs and wants.
